Contemporary Landscape Canvas Wall Art Paintings.
In the United States, the Hudson River School, prominent in the middle to late nineteenth century, is probably the best known native development in contemporary landscape art. These painters created works of mammoth scale in attempting to capture the epic scope of the landscapes that inspired them.

Consequently magnificent and important works of art continue to be made albeit in a wide variety of styles and aesthetic temperaments, the marketplace being left to judge merit.
